Major Paint Correction

This package consists exactly what it says in the title.... " Major Paint Correction ", resulting in leaving your paintwork in a " better than new " appearance.

Performing multiple different stages of machine polishing using various foam/wool/microfibre pads to not only remove/reduce scratches and surface defects but also refining the paintwork to a flawless finish.

This is ideal for the tired and lifeless looking paintwork than in turn 

requires a second lease of life.

When major correction is done on a vehicles paintwork then sometimes its not always possible to achieve 100% correction and a compromise has got to be made on certain areas where the clear lacquer is thinner than the rest of the vehicle.

We aim to get the paintwork as close to " PERFECTION " as safely possible often resulting in an over all 95% correction level.

Due to the nature of some deep scratches then as a rule of thumb, when you feel the scratch with your finger nail if it stops then it will require paint BUT this can be sorted out to a degree by either in filling and polishing OR rounding it off in the polishing stages by leaving it not as visable to the eye.

• All wheels & wheel arches are deep cleaned.
• Door and boot shuts cleaned along with petrol flap.
• Full exterior pressure washed down removing as much dirt and grime as possible.
• Bodywork is sprayed with a citrus pre-wash to aid further with the dirt and grime removal before pressure washed off.
• The entire vehicle is covered from top to bottom with snowfoam as a final stage of helping to remove dirt and grime before pressure rinsing off.
• Onto the 2 bucket safe wash process now, aimed at getting the exterior of the vehicle washed off as safe as possible then rinsed down.
• 2 stage chemical decontaminated. All tar deposits and bonded brake dust/iron fallout chemically removed safely.
• Full claybar treatment to remove any bonded contaminants on the paint and glass, leaving it silky smooth ready to be machine polished.
• Vehicle rinsed down and dried.
• Panel gaps, shuts, rubbers blown dried to remove trapped water ingress.
• All delicate areas such as plastic trim, window rubbers, badges/emblems masking taped up to protect from machine polishing.
• Multi stage machine polishing is now started.
• Paint depth readings are taken to see how much paint we have to work with.
• Starting with the abrasive stage, we aim to remove a lot of the more serious defects as well as the light surface defects by sanding OR polishing. ( This in turn can leave behind sanding marks or micro marring that will be addressed in the next stage ).
• Next is the rest of the cutting stages where we gradually refine the paintwork ready for the final sages of correction.
• The final stage is the refining stage. Aimed at removing the micro marring from the previous stage as well as fully refining the paintwork to a " like glass " appearance.
• Exterior glass is polished using various glass polishing methods.
• Door and boot shuts polished.
• Vehicle is then thoroughly blown down and dusted to remove any polishing dust.
• Polish compound is all tooth picked out of all panel and trim gaps.
• The vehicle is then thoroughly wiped down twice using an alcohol spray to help remove the residue and oils left from polishing leaving the paintwork clean and bare.
• All paintwork on the bodywork, door shuts and wheel faces are protected with a 3 - 6 month ceramic infused wax .

• All plastics are protected with a semi permanent plastic ceramic trim dressing.
• Tyres conditioned and arch linings conditioned.
• Exterior glass has a 6 month rain repellent applied ( WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND A 1 OR 2 YEAR GLASS CERAMIC COATING TO TIE IN WITH THE PAINTWORK CERAMIC COATING.)
